Rathi (Goddess of beauty) 

       Rathi statue is in the  middle of the north row. She is holding a mirror in the left hand and lotus in the right hand; she is seated beautifully on a swan. 

    Thali (sacred thread) can be seen around the neck of Rathi . Though Lord Siva burnt her  husband  Manmathan  with  His frontal eye, she is  seen  with thali since  Lord  Siva gave  him rebirth on her request. Because of a promise,  Manmathan can be seen by Rathi alone. So her statue is opposite to him.

Ceylon Princess

        A beautiful Ceylon Princess statue can be seen with Suthuru and Thali opposite to  Bhima  on the north upper portion. She fell in love with a hermit. On knowing this,  the  hermit  appears  before her with ugly figure holding a parrot in left hand and a stick in right hand. But she identifies him and  says “you  are   that   hermit”.  She  is  still  willing  to marry  him  even  in  that appearance.

Burusha Animal (a blend of human body and animal legs) 

             We can see Burusha animal and Bhima in  the pillar opposite to Ceylon Princess. This animal is having human  head, stout body  and  legs of animal.  A story goes like this.  Once Bhima disturbed  Burusha  animal when the latter was in deep meditation.  The Burusha animal became angry and  got  hold  of  Bhima.  Both of them  requested   Dharma  to  render justice.  Though  Dharma was the brother of Bhima, he gave a fair judgement  declaring that half of Bhima’s  body would belong to Burusha Animal.

Elephant with tusk  and Temple bull

There is an wonderful image carved at the top of a pillar. If you see the image from north it appears as an elephant with tusk and if you see the image from south it looks like a temple bull.

Ramba of Earth

    This statue is in the Veerappa Naicken mandapam. This staute is in dancing pose  carrying  flowers  in the hands. This image really  attracts  the  viewers.
